Iron Horse Canyon Schools

Young scholars residing within Iron Horse Canyon will attend schools managed by Northside ISD.  Northside ISD is the largest district in the San Antonio area and has around 104 campus locations. The district was awarded the rank of “Recognized” in the most recent Texas Education Agency Accountability Rating. A breakdown of the results reveals that 49% of Northside ISD schools are considered “Exemplary”, while 38.5% are “Recognized”, 1.9% are “Academically Acceptable”, and 10.6% did not receive a rating. There are a few schools nearby including Beard Elementary and Garcia Middle School which are both located in Helotes.
